Pet Society (Facebook Apps) Coin Cheat - Trick & Hack

A friend of mine asked me this, “Hey, how come your Pet’s Paw Points suddenly rise from 4.000 to 12.000 just by 1 day? Are you playing it all day long like crazy?” I just laugh and tell him, “Haha, that’s right! I’m crazy!”

Okay, I’m not crazy, and you should know that I don’t have time to play all day long (I wish I could…).The truth is I use a cheat, or hack, or trick, or whatever you call it. It’s not about the Paw Points, but the Coins. With lots of coins, I can buy lot of stuffs so my Paw Poins increased. The more expensive the stuff you buy, more points you will get. There’s a way to hack your Coins using a program called Cheat Engine. And this cheat already found months ago. I’ve just played the game so I just found it just now (thanks to my other friend mentioned that there is a coin cheat for this application game). There are lots of videos tutorials about the cheat in the Youtube, you can check it by yourself, but I’ll just share one video here.


There are couple of things you should get prepared first. These 2 files are the most important parts for the cheat to work:

Cheat Engine 5.4 (you can download it here or here)
Flash Player 9 (you can download it here or here)

You should know that the cheat will ONLY WORKS in flash player 9. IF you already using the latest one (Flash Player 10), you should uninstall it and then install the Flash Player 9. You can see the way to uninstall it here. For the browser, I recommend to use Mozilla Firefox 3 , Opera 9.6 (thanks to Desperate Guy who confirmed this), and Internet Explorer 7. Please notes that some people find out that the cheat isn’t working for IE7 while some other (like me and my friends) find the cheat still working in IE7. I guarantee the cheat will work in Firefox 3, so if you want to avoid problem, use Firefox 3. I haven’t try other browser like Google Chrome or Safari, since I never use it. If any of you already try these browsers, please inform me the result, success or failed (don’t forget to also mention the version of the browser, like Firefox 2 or Firefox 3 or Firefox 3.05 for more detail). BIG THANKS to Desperate Guy (who already helped me a LOT!), he already tested the cheat using Opera and Safari! The conclusion is: DON’T USE GOOGLE CHROME 1.0! It has 2 major problems ( see the detailed report below). As for the Safari 3.2.1, the cheat run just fine.

The step is way easier to follow if you watch the video, but I’ll just explain the process shortly. You can also use these steps to hack your Paw Points as well, but there is a little bit differences and you should read the notes 2 in the end of the post.

First, open the Pet Society application in Firefox or IE. I won’t recommend other browser since I haven’t try it.
Throw the ball with your pet 5 times in a row to get a coin. Actually, it’s not the only way. You only need to make your coin increase, even if it’s only 1 coin.
Open the Cheat Engine 5.4 program, then click the button in the top left corner to see a list of processes in your computer.
Find the browser that you use. If you are using Firefox then find firefox.exe, if you are using IE then find iexplorer.exe. Select it and click OK to open it.
Check the “hex” box. Insert 840FFF85C12A0FF2 in the value.
Set the value type to 8 bytes.
Check the “Also scan read only memory” box.
Click “First Scan” button.
You will probably get 2 search result. Notes that some people mentioned that they got 3 search result or even 1. If you get 3 results, ignore the first one and pay attention to the 2nd and the 3rd. If you didn’t get any result, then there must be a wrong step you just did. Check back again. If you sure you did the right thing, then probably it’s your browser fault. Make sure you use Firefox 3 or IE7 with Flash Player 9 installed, not the 10 or 8 or even the older one. If you only get 1 result, it is probably the coin one. Try it first with caution. If you want to hack Paw Points but you can’t since you only get 1 result which is for coin, you can read Notes 2 in the end of the post.
Now, this one is the tricky one. The 2 results are indicates your Coin and Paw Points address. Usually, the first one is for the Coin while the second one is for the Paw Points. How do we know about that? Well, I’ll tell you at Step 13 later. So, we want to cheat the coin, so let’s try the first one. Right click the first result (the 2nd one if you got 3 result like I mentioned above) and select “Disassemble this memory region”. A new window will open.
Right click on the first line and select “Toggle breakpoint” then select Yes.
Go back to the application (which you can get by simply just click “Alt” + “Tab”).
Play/throw the ball again in the row 5 times. When you reach the 5 one, the screen will freeze. Don’t panic, that indicates the hack is working. PAY ATTENTION HERE. If you reach the 5 one and the screen didn’t freeze, but instead, the screen freeze when the ball touch the floor, that means the first result (like I’ve mentioned in Step 10 before) is for the Paw Points. If you get this one, then the rest of the steps will hack your Paw Points instead of you Coins. Don’t want that? Then try to repeat the Step 10, and choose the second result. That’s probably your coin. The indicator to show that result is the correct one (for coin) is when the screen freeze when you play/throw the ball in the 5th throws, not when the ball hit the floor (this is the indicator for Paw Points). Remember this.
Get back to the Cheat Engine using “Alt” + “Tab”. Mouse won’t work.
See the right side of the Cheat Engine new window and select the ECX one. Change the value to “9999“. If you insert more than that, the game will get error. So 1-9999 is the safe value. Click OK.
Go to “Debug” in the Cheat Engine menu bar and select “Run”. (the shortcut is by pressing F9)
Return to Pet Society again. Nothing changed? It will. Exit your room by exit the house or move to other room if you have more than 1 room. EDIT! Thanks to Desperate Guy (see comment section below), the money perhaps won’t increase just by doing so. You have to exit the house and re-enter it by pushing the “house” button. Move to other room or walking back home won’t change your money. If by any chance your money doesn’t increase by just move to other room, try re-enter your house by pushing the “house” button. Good luck!
VIOLA! Your coins will increase about 39.320 (if you did enter 9999 before)!
Repeat the process from Step 11 if you want. Just be careful, sometimes the game will get error if you use the cheat repeatedly. Some people notes that it’s more safe to repeat process from Step 8 (re-scan it).
Looks hard and long step? Actually no, it’s pretty easy and can be done in a very short time. Just see the video for more details. Notes:
The cheat might not working anymore in the future if there is an update to prevent this cheat working. But so far, even after they do some maintenances and updates few times, the hack is still working. Just do it ASAP before you regret it, hehehe.

Notes 2:
For those who want to use the Paw Points cheat, please BE CAREFUL! Don’t enter the value too big for the first try. Never try to use 9999 value, before you know it safe. Some of my friends already got a problem with that. They have MINUS Paw Points or even a HECK LOT of Paw Points (more than 800 million Paw Points!) which will drag a real trouble. Someone might report your pet to admin and you might get banned. For me, it’s more than enough to only use coin cheat. If you want to get lot of Paw Points, just use your coins to buy a lot of expensive stuff from Luxury, and be royal to give it as a gift to your friends. You will get lot of Paw Points in honest way. :p
Remember that, right now the maximum level is 34, and I suggest don’t increase your Paw Points more than 250.000, since that is already high enough (I do have a friend who has 240.000 Paw Points and she get it without cheat - but - with playing the game for months!). Well, I just want to play safe. It’s your decision to play safe or not.

I try using Google Chrome 1.0.154.43. Both game and cheat engine work well. But I dont recommend using Chrome because:
1. You will see 2 cursors while playing the game. The 1st cursor is your Windows’ arrow cursor. And the other is the game’s hand cursor. I find myself confused seeing two cursors chase each other as I drag around the game.

2. When you use search engine, you’ll see THREE chrome.exe in the process. Only one is correct. From my test, the third process is the ‘real’ one. Perhaps it’s random, I’m not sure.

WARNING:
Using this cheat/hack will ruin the fun of your game. You will be able to buy all stuffs, even the expensive one. You’ll get the points easier and you’ll get bored easily by this. And, you might get banned as well. So, use it with your own risk and don’t blame me if anything happen.
